With therapy costs averaging over $120/hr for services from a licensed therapist, the possibility of funding therapy is out of reach for many families.   With multiple hours of therapy needed per week for many children, therapy costs can easily exceed $15,000 per year, a figure that prevents many children from receiving the right therapy services at critical development periods.  

The barriers created by these costes, prohibitively expensive insurance costs, and inadequate access provided by Medicaid results in children and families being significantly impacted and disadvantaged.
