The Turning Wheels Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of a group of insightful and experienced individuals who passionately believe in supporting families through their therapy journey
Jon brings over 20 years of business experience to the Turning Wheels Foundation, including executive leadership roles at Newell Brands, Spin Master Toys, and uni Brands. Jon also helps manage the back office aspects of his wife Amy's therapy clinic, which has provided a view into the pressing needs that the Turning Wheels Foundation can support.
Jon is a graduate of Miami University and has completed executive courses at Penn State University and Harvard. Jon resides in Wheaton with his wife and three children.
Justin is a Managing Director at Advisory Research, Inc, an institutional investment manager in Chicago. Prior to Advisory, he spent time with Morningstar and Huntington National Bank. He has an undergraduate degree from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Justin resides in Hinsdale with his wife and two sons. His appreciation for the benefits (and financial requirements) of speech therapy stems from witnessing his own child’s needs and growth since he was a toddler.
Kellie worked in the marketing research industry for 13 years before transitioning to be a stay at home parent. Her time is spent focusing on her two kids, one who has special needs, and is highly involved in the day to day school and therapy updates and goals. Kellie is passionate about helping other families with special needs children and because of this, started a support group for local parents who have gone through similar experiences and have the need for a sounding board.
Kellie lives in Wheaton with her husband and two kids and enjoys exploring the city and surrounding area. She is honored and excited to be a part of the Turning Wheels Foundation and looks forward to making a big impact for children and their families.
Erin is an occupational therapist and currently works at Turning Wheels Pediatric Therapy in Wheaton, IL. She helps children of all ages with varying needs to develop life skills and work toward greater independence. She has been in practice for 16 years, and spent many years working at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital with children with multiple physical and cognitive disabilities. She also had the privilege of working with many low-income and refugee families during her time there. Erin saw first-hand many critical needs, as well as the significant positive impact that therapy services and specialized equipment can make for a child and family. She is honored to be part of an organization that helps support families in need, as well as supporting children to achieve their goals.
Erin attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois as well as Washington University in St. Louis, where she received a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has participated in a variety of training courses and specialty certifications as related to her role as a pediatric occupational therapist. Erin grew up in Wheaton, and currently lives in Wheaton with her husband and two children. She has served as a volunteer at her church, with World Vision, and with World Relief DuPage. She is passionate about providing tangible and functional support to families in her community through the Turning Wheels Foundation.
